The Ten Commandments
(Positively Stated)

Cross

Dove & Crossby Thomas A. Stobie, SFO

Prelude

I felt inspired by the Holy Spirit to write down the ten commandments stated positively and to cover the full breadth of the commandment (as covered in the Catechism of the Catholic Church) and share this with others via the internet. If you have questions about what is written here, please contact me.

Some of the traditional commandments are in the form of "Thou shall not"; some are stated positively. Most cover more depth than is initially obvious just looking at the commandment.

I use the phrase "traditional-stated" as this is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church uses. I use the phrase "Positively-stated" to represent a more fuller positive statement of the commandment.
