11 | Jeus is Nailed to the CrossYou are laid out on top of the cross. Your bruised arms are violently stretched out. You feel a sharp pain through one of Your wrists, hurting further Your bruised body, as the first nail in driven into the cross, and then the other wrist explodes in pain as the second nail is driven in. Then the pain explodes in Your feet as they too are nailed to the cross. They lift up the cross, inflaming the agony of Your body. The weight of Your body compounds the pain in Your arms and shoulders. Breathing is agonizing, but You know that You must fulfill Your Father's Will, so You will Yourself to continue living. In the midst of the unbearable pain, You think of those for whom You are suffering and for those around You. You forgive all injuries out of love of Your fellow man and give Your Mother to all mankind. You qoute the Psalms about abandonment continuing to teach even in Your dying moments. Even in horrible suffering Your first thoughts are on those You love. O Jesus, have mercy on us all. |

12 | Jesus Dies on the CrossEverything is now done that is needed to be done according to the Father's plan. You can finally permit yourself to die. You surrender Your Spirit and let Your body die. The Agony of the body ends but the suffering of Your Beloveds continues as they see You die and are overcome in grief. Soldiers pierce the side of Your dead body, revealing Your Heart, the Infinite Loving Sacred Heart of God, to the world. Your witness on the cross thaws the hearts of some witnesses transforming their lives into one of Christian virtue. Even in Your death, You bring people to the Father. O Jesus, have mercy on us all. |
