Spell Descriptions
- 1. Discernment I - Target gains a +5 to all awareness rolls. This bonus also applies to any resistance rolls to overcome detection (such as non-detection & magical obsurement) by the target. In addition the target receives a special bonus (double the awareness roll bonus) to m-subclass spells that try to obscure reality.
- 2. Area of Truth I - Creates an area identifiable by dim blue light where lying is more difficult. Perceiving the truth for everything that is stated in the area is made easier by a bonus of +25.
- 3. Aura of Truth I - For the duration of the spell, the target is covered with a blue glow that changes to red whenever the Target is lying provided the spell makes a successful Lie Perception maneuver (with a skill bonus of +100).
- 4. Discernment II - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +10.
- 5. See Invisible - Target can see invisible objects.
- 6. Area of Truth II - As Area of Truth I, except to bonus is +50.
- 7. Discernment III - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +15.
- 8. Observation - Target gains insight or facts by observing a person or thing with intense concentration. Gives the caster a +50 modification to the Observation.
- 9. Aura of Truth II - As Aura of Truth I, except the spell uses a skill bonus of +150.
- 10. Discernment IV - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +20.
- 11. Sense Illusions - Target can discern what is real and what is illusion (sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch).
- 12. Uttersenses - Target can sense through areas of magic darkness and quiet as if they were not there. This includes seeing through Utterdarkness.
- 13. Sense out of Phase - Target can discern what is out of phase with his normal perceptions.
- 14. Area of Truth III - As Area of Truth I, except to bonus is +75.
- 15. Discernment V - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +25.
- 16. Aura of Truth True - As Aura of Truth I, except it detects all lies automatically.
- 17. Reality Awareness - Target gets a +100 in all attempts to discern reality.
- 18. Area of Truth IV - As Area of Truth I, except to bonus is +100.
- 19. Observation True as Observation except virtually all details are noticed. The bonus is +100.
- 20. Discernment VI - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +30.
- 25. Area of Truth True - as Area of Truth I, except that any lying is impossible.
- 30. Discernment VIII - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +40.
- 50. Discernment Master - as Discernment I, except the bonus is +50 and target discerns true reality through all of his senses, including spotting all falsehoods. This includes detecting through all magical concealments, obsurements, redirections, non-detections, etc.
Special Notes
- The effects of all of these spells except the Area of Truth and Aura of Truth spells will work through scrying devices, scrying spells, and spells that permit remote sensing.
